　Participants will learn emergency actions needed at the very moment of a major disaster in Japan.

• Emergency Actions for Various Disaster Types Depending on Time and Location

• Staying Connected with Family, Friends, Colleagues, and Key Customers
• Customizing Emergency Kit and Stockpiles at Your Home, Car, and Workplace
• Selecting a Secure Housing and Minimizing Potential Hazards at Your Home
• Understanding Public, Social and Private Disaster Support in Japan

2. Japan Preparedness Training for Busy People

　In addition to the above, participants will learn the following knowledge and skills as a basis of BCP(Business Continuity Plan). 

• Benefits and Functions of Medical/Security Assistance Program, EAP(Employee Assistance Program), and Insurances
• Basics of PFA(Psychological First Aid) to Prevent Mental Disorder(ASD or PTSD)
• Plan B for Domestic and International Evacuation/Medical Evacuation in the Worst-Case Scenario
• Laws and Regulations Worth Knowing as a Foreign Resident
• Personal Financial Plan for Disasters in Japan

3. Japan Preparedness Workshop

　In addition to the above, participants will learn advanced risk mitigation skills by a map exercise and an indoor disaster drill. 

Tokyo-specific Training

1.  Tokyo Quick Survival Tips

　Participants  will learn emergency actions needed to avoid complex urban hazards  at the time of  major disaster in Tokyo.

• Types and Potential Impact of Natural and Man-Made Disasters in Tokyo
• Emergency Actions for Various Disaster Types Depending on Time and Location
• Gathering and Sharing Updated and Correct Information
• Staying Connected with Family, Friends, Colleagues, and Key Customers
• Customizing Emergency Kit and Stockpiles at Your Home, Car, and Workplace
• Selecting a Secure Home, Minimizing Potential Hazards at Your Home, and Preparing Your Home as a Comfortable Shelter
• Understanding Public, Social and Private Disaster Support in Tokyo

2. Tokyo Preparedness Training for Busy People

Optional Training

1. Survival Nihongo  (for people with JLPT N2 or above, delivery in Japanese)

　Participants will learn essential vocabulary to understand confusing disaster alerts and to request emergency assistance. 

2. Family Preparedness Training

　Participants will learn how to prepare your home as your emergency shelter in the aftermath of a major disaster.

3. Urban Field Trip

　Participants will learn a risk awareness and mitigation skills in a realistic way.

　This course consists of a guided street tour for risk detection, and a simulator-based training at a disaster training center.
